Forced Adoption

GOD GAVE ME MY CHILDREN,, NOT THE STATE!

‎”The Commons Public Accounts Committee has warned in a new report that children’s family court service, Cafcass, is “not fit for purpose”. The committee said that although the family court advisers saw a 34% rise in its casework following the Peter Connolly case, it has “failed to get to grips with fundamental weaknesses in its culture, management and performance”.   http://www.familylaw.co.uk/

“£500,000 per adoption approx if the creators – parents contest it.”

Social services have forcibly adopted more than 200 children in Leicestershire in the past five years.  www.thisisleicestershire.co.uk

Two British articles deal with forced adoption. In the first, Christopher Booker tells of a couple forced to flee England to refuge in North Cyprus. In the second, the Guardian tells the story of four mothers all losing their children to the adoption system. http://www.fixcas.com/cgi-bin/go.py?2010f.adoption
