Advocating for Transparency and Accountability in Child Welfare

“Unfortunately, to be effective in advocating for transparency and accountability in child-welfare services, money is needed. Over the past several years we have attempted to conduct our activities without the continuous financial support of membership fees or regular donations, and our efforts, although important and effective at various levels, were seriously and negatively impacted.”

The Board of Directors of the Foster Care Council of Canada.

Their site allows the directors and volunteer staff to conduct and organize their work in a transparent and accountable manner; which permits the public, organizations, agencies, professionals, and our supporters to monitor what what they are doing and how.
