Who believe those children from troubled backgrounds must be placed in full time fostering.
Brief description of the service
The fostering service is managed by the local authority. The range of fostering services includes time-limited, respite, long-term, permanent, kinship and family link fostering. The fostering service assesses, approves and provides on-going support to foster carers. The short breaks family link service for children with disabilities is managed within the disabled children’s service and has its own unique statement of purpose and function.

This page has reports for inspections that happened before November 2013. From November 2013 we stopped doing individual inspections of local authority adoption agencies and fostering services. We now inspect local authority services for children in need of help and protection, children looked after and care leavers. These inspections include local authority adoption agencies and fostering services. When published these inspection reports are available on the local authority’s page.
They are preferred providers on the East Midlands contract. They deal directly with Derbyshire, Leicestershire, Northamptonshire and Nottingham Councils. They also receive referrals for children from neighbouring authorities such as Cambridgeshire,Peterborough, Milton Keynes, Luton and Bedfordshire to name some.
I believe that keeping silent when an injustice is taking place is condoning it.
