Angelina Jolie’s Children to Appear in Cleopatra

Angelina Jolie has landed roles for all six of her children in ‘Cleopatra.

The actress and her fiancé Brad Pitt have previously said they didn’t want their brood – Maddox, 13, Pax, 10, Zahara, nine, Shiloh, eight, and five-year-old twins Vivienne and Knox – to follow them into acting, but it appears they may have changed their mind after they all appeared on set together ready to film.

A source told the Daily Mirror newspaper: “Their whole family life is rooted in films but Brad and Ange didn’t want the children to follow in their footsteps. However, acting is in their genes, and it could turn out to be the start of something big for the next generation.”

Mom Jailed For Dropping Off Her 9 Year Old At Local Playground While She Worked (the story sparks spirited debate online)

You are a working mom who has a 9 year old daughter. You can’t find someone to watch her and you can’t afford daycare. What do you do?

For 46 year old Debra Lynn Harrell from North Augusta, South Carolina, she took the only option she felt was available to her. She occasionally dropped off her daughter at a local playground, for hours, while she worked her shift at a nearby McDonald.

Now she’s under arrest and is being charged with unlawful neglect of a child; a class E felony. She has lost custody of the minor to the Department of Social services.

According to Business Insider Harrell’s daughter initially played with a laptop at the McDonald while her mother worked. But after the laptop got stolen Harrell agreed to her daughter’s request to drop her off at the park playground, where she typically played with other  kids her age, with a cell phone.

But three days after the arrangement an adult asked her were her parent(s) where and her responds prompted a call to the police. The rest is history.
